Salary: $65,000 per year

Raleigh, North Carolina

We are looking for a Residential Construction Project Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. You will serve as our site supervisor and will manage our field teams while ensuring tasks are on schedule, on budget and of the highest quality.

Responsibilities for our Construction Project Managers are:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications for our Construction Project Managers are:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with Co-Construct construction management software
  • Demonstrable strong leadership qualities and negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must have own truck and tools

Education: GED

Experience: Mid-Level (4 – 7 years)

We are seeking a Project Director for our growing team! The job responsibilities of a Project Director consist of closing prospects, via appointments pre-set for you, that are pre-qualified for job scope, budget and company culture fit. Front-end project planning which includes, writing job scopes, coordinating amongst trades for proper pricing, full estimating, and ensuring accuracy of documents for construction success. The Project Director closes the customer on the Build Contract. The Project Director is responsible for managing both the client experience, while managing compliance with construction schedules, and build quality via your directly reporting Project Manager

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively prepare job estimates, decipher blueprints and analyze renderings for appropriate and accurate quoting of man-hours, materials and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Requires an understanding of architectural and construction administration services, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, specifications, and working drawings.
  • Must be familiar with building codes, materials, remodeling estimating techniques. Must have the ability to read, interpret, and review construction plans and job costs.
  • Must have working knowledge of CRM or scheduling software.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Google Mail and Sheets
  • Detail Oriented – ability to be very precise, measure distances and the size of items and an eye for detail
  • Critical Thinking Skills – ability to problem solve when issues arise in a project and foresee them before they occur
  • Communication – ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams. Enthusiasm and passion are critical to be successful in this this role!

Job requires balance of sitting in front of a computer for several hours at a time and the physical stamina to stand, climb, lift objects, and/or bend down for long periods at a time. Possible travel within 50-mile radius to project sites, visiting clientele, contractors, suppliers, consultants, etc.

  • Attend meetings with clients to review plans & layouts.
  • Coordinate and attend client off-site meetings to select product specifications for each project including design, colors, and finishes, etc.
  • Document product selection and project details using appropriate forms.
  • Design and layout of cabinets using computer aided programs or hand drafting.
  • Coordinate and submit product selections for vendor estimates & prepare information for estimating.
  • Participate in pre-construction meeting, controller review, contract meetings, and mid job walk throughs during production.

Required Qualification(s):

  • 3+ years’ experience with all phases of residential design with a focus on Kitchen & Bath Design preferred.
  • Revit software experience.
  • Extensive cabinetry design experience – please have sample work available.
  • Strong product knowledge of all interior and exterior products.
  • 2020 Design fluency.

 

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in interior design or interior architecture preferred.
  • NKBA certification preferred.
  • Be a conceptual thinker with strong technical skills (design and drawing).
  • Ability to cross reference product information & specifications to ensure compatibility.

 

Required Soft Skills:

High attention to details, highly motivated, strong documentation, organization and communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
